We are an innovative and dynamic Home Health Company currently looking for compassionate Medical Coordinator to add to our team!
Responsible for maintaining client/employee schedules, updating client orders, activating new employees at the conclusion of new-hire Orientation, and taking client orders as necessary. Compile late time slip list. Works collaboratively with Director of Nursing and Home Care Supervisors to facilitate client care/scheduling. Also works collaboratively with Human Resources regarding staff needs and proper disciplinary procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional areas which may include any combination of the following tasks:
Review client orders/maintain contact with client via telephone to determine client needs and effectively schedule an employee.
Meet with each new employee following Orientation to determine cases to assign employee based client needs and employee skills/availability.
Enter new client information into computer.
Update client orders electronically.
Maintain electronic schedules of clients and employees.
Maintain electronic employee attendance.
Attend daily Report meeting.
Take incoming phone calls and refer to appropriate staff member.
Handle employee/client complaints and resolve/refer as appropriate.
Compile late time slip list on a weekly basis.
Confirms client/employee schedules on a regular basis.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT
High School Diploma required. A minimum of two years of experience in the health care field is preferred. Customer service/contact desired.

Proficiency in use of Visions program.
